We are very happy that two awesome guys, Anders on trombone and Marius on saxophone decided to become member of our orchestra. On their next birthday, they will be 30 years old – together. This is also the number of years their mother Kirsten has been flutist in Tonica. A warm welcome to the two of you 🙂

Dear TONICA. The new home page is online, horray! But this is only the beginning. The magic ball says that some really creative souls will take over some day, and make this the most attractive orchestra home page ever! Just have a look at our gorgeous facebook pages, to get an idea, how exciting TONICA can be. All the best, ute
Vienna concert 2017
Dear friends, as you may know, our Vienna concert starts earlier this year, at 3 pm already. We look forward very much to playing for you!
Tonica has its own “Tyroler” group. Last year, we actually toured to Tirol 🙂 Mir san die lustigen Holzhackerbuam!
Tonica tappenstreg (tatoo)
Here is the text to our cherished hymn, a march composed by Tonica member Carl Justesen in 1950: “Hør blot nu lyder Klang og Spil.” Alle i Gaden iler til. Der spilles op med Fynd og Klem. Hornene gjalder, Tonerne kalder. “Det er Musik for dig og mig, nu klinger deres Tappenstreg” Piber og Trommer lyder, nu kommer Tonica! Curious about the melody? Then come to our next new years concert, or join the orchestra :-).
