    Our Wienerkoncert leaves Aarhus festuge, but comes back to be held in the best Wiener time of the year, when sun and leaves become golden. Wien bleibt Wien, but also goes Promenade!

    There will be a lot of conducting (Boris Kertsman), singing (Daniel Kjær Nielsen), dancing (Århus Balletakademie) and playing (Tonica), as well as watching, listening and clapping (you) 🙂 in Aarhus town hall.

    Same procedure as every year - we are going to open the season for boat harbour concerts in Ry.
    And as last year, our conductor is Boris Kertsman, now our principal conductor.

    The concert is free 🙂

    Not our first concert with Boris Kertsman, but the first with Boris as principal conductor 🙂
    Among others, we will play music of Leonard Bernstein (Candide ouverture and West Side Story), a medley of film music by Ennio Morricone and another one on melodies of Kai Norman Andersen, Danmarks great musical composer.

    Tickets (60 dkr for adults) are available at the entry or on biletto.dk (link). Entry is free for kids under 15.

    Our new years concert in Aarhus was a big success. We will do it again, this time in Kolding, under Peter Harbeck's baton. Soloist and show master is still the same: Annette Heick!

    Harmoniorkestret TONICA invites again for an afternoon with the greates Xmas hits, danish songs, carols and a true Lucia procession, in other words: Xmas sweets.

    Take a breath in all this Xmas hustle and bustle with Harmoniorkestret TONICA and singer Mona Britt Nykjær, who will lead us through a musical Xmas wonderland. Forget about december's cold and darkness and enjoy a relaxed and festive afternoon, with melodies such as the "parade of the little goblins” and ”Let it go”, and sing the Danish christmas carol "Være velkommen" together with TONICA and Mona Britt Nykjær, under direction of Niels Bo Emgren.

    Maestro Jørgen Fuglebæk is ready when Harmoniorkestret TONICA opens doors to this year's Vienna concert. Oeuvres by the Strauss family are a must – this year we will present you the gorgeous Geschichten aus dem Wienerwald. Of course you will also hear swinging melodies by the danish Strauss, H.C. Lumbye, and the famous Radetzky march. Our soloists are singers Laura Flensted Jensen and Niels Bo Emgren.

    Harmoniorkestret TONICA will open the open air concerts Ry havnekoncerter again this year. Among others there will be music of Gustav Holst, Percy Grainger and H.C. Lumbye. The concert will be conducted by young maestro and trumpetist Boris Kertsman, soloist is singer Mona Britt Nykjær. No entry fee.

    New years concerts are the event for us. As usual we invite special guests. This years special guest is Trine Gadeberg, who acts both as conferencier and soloist in our concert.
    Trine Gadeberg is well known in Denmark, both as singer and actor. She as played in the most popular musicals, and appeared in TV.

    This years maestro is Peter Harbeck. After graduating from music at Aarhus University, he won a clarinet position in Den Kongelige Livgardes Musikkorps, of which he later became the conductor and director. He was also director and conducter of Søværnets Tambourkorps, and is now a much sought after freelance conducter, teacher and band doctor.
